Historical Roots:

In the past, Beyt Dwarka was part of the Gaekwad Kingdom. During the 1857 revolt, it was briefly taken over by the Vaghers, but later returned. Many old items from the Harappan period and Mauryan Empire have been found here. Ship remains in the sea nearby show that people traded with the Roman Empire long ago.

Beach combing was really very interesting as Ajaybhai, the owner, showed so many creatures. He is quite knowledgeable when it comes to marine life. I strongly recommend it to all those who want to be close to nature and who do not mind sleeping in a tent.”
